The Tender Years is a musical project built upon over 30 years of friendship and service in the Twin Cities music scene.
Within their brand of ramshackle stumble-pop, you'll hear traces of IRS-era R.E.M.,Yo La Tengo, and Guided By Voices to name a few. Their new EP, After The Batteries Die, was recorded by veteran engineer Tom Herbers (Grant Hart, Low,) and will be released on April 22, 2022.
